To do this please send the original power of attorney or a copy certified in ink (on every page if this is a lasting power of attorney or if issued in Scotland) by the person who has appointed the attorney(s), a bank, a solicitor or stockbroker, to the Registrars for registration.
The Registrars will not be able to accept a photocopy of this document.

Before you can trade on behalf of an Estate, the Registrar will need to have recorded to relevant legal documentation, such as the death certificate and grant of representation.

If the documentation has already been recorded any the named personal representative will be able to execute a trade through our usual trading procedure. All standard requirements for trading still apply.
